Ashlyn Mckibben is primarily a portrait and documentary photographer located in Miami, Florida. Her work explores the ever changing dynamics of "roles" in relation to gender, age, and progression of the two. She intends to empower her subjects, and question the standards and expectations set by traditional society.

She has been formally trained by receiving her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2018, and is currently a specialist at Leica Store Miami. Her role at LSM involves event coordination, gallery openings, high end sales, and customer service.

Ashlyn's experience crosses all platforms of photography including 35mm film, 120mm film, 4x5, and digital formats. 

 

She also specializes in a range of traditional media such as drawing, printmaking, and painting.
